Straightener is a fairly new band that could definitely be
considered indies. They formed in 1998 and released their
album, Straighten it up, in 2000. In 2001, they changed
over to the record company RUN RUN RUN Records and released
a mini-album titled Error. As they continued to play, they
recieved several great opportunities from other bands. Art
School did a split tape with them and worked together with
them on a tour in 2002. They have also played with TYPHOON
24, The Beat Crusaders, ELLEGARDEN, and Asian Kung-Fu
Generation!
