██▓▓ One of the main outlets for Jurgen Driessen's early ██▓▓
██▓▓ work, Important was responsible for some of the true ██▓▓
██▓▓ acid classics. 4 out of the first 5 releases contain ██▓▓
██▓▓ some of the most manic and spellbinding 303 builds ██▓▓
██▓▓ ever put to vinyl. Later releases tend to go a ██▓▓
██▓▓ trancier route as Driessen started to embrace a more ██▓▓
██▓▓ toned down style of production. The 303s are there, ██▓▓
██▓▓ but used in a less abusive fashion. Works like ██▓▓
██▓▓ Exposure, Bon Appetit and Attitude EP are perfect ██▓▓
██▓▓ symbols of what happened to the rave scene as the 90s ██▓▓
██▓▓ wore on. Producers changed their styles from a raw, ██▓▓
██▓▓ energetic sound to one that was supposedly more ██▓▓
██▓▓ evolved and nuanced. In the process, they took the ██▓▓
██▓▓ heart out of their music. I'm still waiting for an ██▓▓
██▓▓ explanation as to why this happened. ██▓▓
