with David Holton performing all instruments, production, and
songwriting.
During the 1999 period David Released two albums. The first was an EP
of remixes from Drawing Down The Moon and two new tracks,
entitled Awake In Semuta. The second was a collection of demos for
the intended, but aborted, follow-up to Drawing Down The Moon
entitled Blue Ruin.
Fall of 2000 saw the release of the first new full-length studio album
from Ashengrace. Titled Surface this album saw its single Seven

began generating a fan base for the band outside their native Arizona.
In 2002, David put the finishing touches on Eve and Mistral and the

aggressive dance floor piece, Coldlight became a huge hit for the band
