The new EP by Blank is the usual electronic whatchamacallit that
more or less nobody knows how to define. Basically, it's a bunch of
different noises put together in a way that kind of makes sense and
seems to please the songwriter and it's a great way to fight
boredom and delve in the mundane crap that bothers him these days.
To make things a little more comfy, the 2 previously released
single tracks are included here, together with three brand new
songs two of them are pure fun dancefloor-oriented stompers and the
third one is a nice introspective tune with a shitload of glitches
and audio edits that might be appreciated by those who dig this
kind of stuff.
So there's a bit of glitch, a bit of techno, a bit of industrial, a
bit of synth-driven stuff, oscillating between the dancefloor and
the atmosphere. Makes sense? You decide.
Blank are currently working on music to be published later this
year. Let's see what happens... In the meantime, let us know what
you think about this new tracks.

Italian duo of vocalist Davide Mazza (The Maze), and Riccardo
Mattioli (Der Mate) on keyboards. Starting out with the demo
"424C414E4B" in 2000, which was available only via the web. Their
second promo followed a year later, also on the web. Their debut
EP, "Overhead" appeared on the Canadian label Artoffact Records in
2003, and their debut album was on the same label in mid-2004.

Hi chaps! This is the new retrofuturistic "back to the future"
obso-leet AMOK nfo hybridising oldskool ASCII art and YAML.
This nfo is designed to be both human and machine readable.
We also bring a few more things:
- The filenames are appended with ISRC codes disambiguating common
dupechecking problems like remastered and remixed tracks,
transliteration errors, foreign characters...
- id3 tags include a lot more metadata than average releases,
some to name a few:
- extended genres (extracted from last.fm/bandcamp)
- similar artists
- BPM (also shown in the tracklist above)
- URLS for that release on various websites for listeners to
look for more info and to simplify nukers' jobs checking
releases
The schema_version tag allows that nfo format to evolve and stay
compatible. The current schema will be published in the near
future to make sure all .yml.nfo released will use the same
structure and set of keys.
