Jazzman and our sister label Funk 45 are possibly
the worlds best regarded funk soul and jazz
re-issue labels.Having issued only 50 70's on
Jazzman and over 30 70's on Funk 45 in the past 8
years,we dominate the market with quality product
and don't flood it with mediocre releases. We
continue to seek out great music that has been
long since forgotten or has proved very difficult
to find in its original format,so everyone can
have a chance to listen to some of the best music
ever made! This is our fifth collection of 70's
releases on Cd - a feast for your ears! The BEST,
RAREST and TASTIEST in hard Funk, driving Latin,
Sultry Soul, Deep Jazz and Crazy Egyptian music!
This Cd features takes cuts from the last ten 70's
releases on Jazzman covering mega classics like
Aaron Neville's oft-sampled "Hercules",
mega-rarities like Lou Pride's uptempo rendering
of "It's a Man's World",rare Brit Jazz from John
Cameron,in-demand New Funk from the Soul Saints
and the enigmatic Bajka, plus scorching Latin
Boogaloo for the dancefloor from Manny Corchado,
and that's just to name a few! These titles alone
make this collection indispensable unless you have
the originals of course!
