19 years 2kilos &more has existed.
19 is also the name of the band's very last record, which ant-zen
will release on 18.11.2022 to celebrate the end of the adventure
of this atypical electronic / rhythmic-ambient / post-rock
parisian duo.
a 10-track cd and a double digital album of 19 tracks will be
released.
the digital album is divided in two parts, the first one
containing the content of the cd and the second one, nine other
tracks only available in this format). for every purchase of the
cd, a voucher to download the double digital album will be
offered.
ant-zen gathers here unreleased or rare tracks from different
periods of the band's life, mostly from various compilations.
among them is an original adaptation (featuring the saxophonist
julius gabriel) of tuxedomoon's km / seeding the clouds, which
appeared on their half-mute give me new noise: half-mute reflected
reissue), but also great remixes for trisomie 21, von magnet,
gjöll, roger rotor (live version), spherical disrupted, picore,
an unreleased live adventurous collaboration with the
contemporary music group partita radicale and finally an
unreleased collaboration with evi vine.

2kilos &More is a french duo from Paris created in 2003. The
press talk about them as a subtle mix between ambient-electronica
(Warp), post-rock (Labradford) because of the constant but
measured use of melodic guitars and acoustic instruments (like
bass, drum, sensula..) with experimental influences
(Zoviet*France).
The new album "kurz vor5", out in May 2012, is produced by the
legendary Norscq (The Grief, Colder, Von Magnet…) with vocals
collaboration from Black Sifichi (who worked with Black Dog, Burnt
Friedman, Simon Fisher Turner, Rodolphe Burger…) and Phil Von (Von

New live visual creation: 2kilos &More is back on stage in 2011.
This time, they invited Lisa May, an australian videast (working
with Von Magnet) and Black Sifichi to join them on tour.
Really more than just diffusing images on a back screen, Lisa
May’s work is projected on a scrim (transparent screen) in front
of the stage, on the musicians and at the back. Videos are
prepared or improvised in live. The visuals effects surround the
band, bringing it in another dimension, and transport the
audiance in a different reality.

Hi chaps! This is the new retrofuturistic "back to the future"
obso-leet AMOK nfo hybridising oldskool ASCII art and YAML.
This nfo is designed to be both human and machine readable.
We also bring a few more things:
- The filenames are appended with ISRC codes disambiguating common
dupechecking problems like remastered and remixed tracks,
transliteration errors, foreign characters...
- id3 tags include a lot more metadata than average releases,
some to name a few:
- extended genres (extracted from last.fm/bandcamp)
- similar artists
- BPM (also shown in the tracklist above)
- URLS for that release on various websites for listeners to
look for more info and to simplify nukers' jobs checking
releases
The schema_version tag allows that nfo format to evolve and stay
compatible. The current schema will be published in the near
future to make sure all .yml.nfo released will use the same
structure and set of keys.
