10 Years of Thaumaturgy
A decade of nightmares, a decade of wonder, Thaumaturgy stands as a
monument of thought, a reflection of the many years of trembling
frequencies and world's created; an ode to what once was. Within
you will find fully remastered tracks carefully curated to show the
thousand names and thousand faces of Randal Collier-Ford, and his
past projects. From the forgotten vaults of Mors Univera to Grey
Light Shade, and the opening years his debut naked record. As
Creator and Destroyer, of the genre as it is known, Randal
Collier-Ford returns to present these beginning years as a
celebration of Magic, Mystery, and Awe.
Compilation of the early and rare tracks from different projects by
Randal Collier-Ford to celebrate the 10th anniversary of his music
career started in 2012.

Randal Collier-Ford (Oregon, USA) has only been in the genre
of Dark Ambient music since mid 2012, but has already stacked an
extensive library of work ranging from Traditional Drone, to Gothic
Dark Ambient, Harsh Noise Walls, and Cinematic Dark Ambient. All of
these genres have had their own names, each with it’s own pulse,
but here is where the source lays. Where the chaos of the byproduct
silently rumbles forth whispers of another realm; a reflection
that is not spoken of, only seen and heard. The album Dark Corners
was the first installment to this, the encompassing vision of
this plain, promptly titled what it is to project. With each new
installment comes another story, another glimpse, another whisper
of the Void. Where a soul travels freely into treacherous lands,
where the ground is more likely to swallow you before your mind could
swallow itself. And now, with the release of The Architects, comes
the first true roar of this reality, the echo of agelessness. Where
the un-tethered souls of vengeful Gods, Creators and Destroyers,
run unopposed in their slumber and in their wait, sending dreams to
the Beings of their choice. Here is where Chaos is translated.

Hi chaps! This is the new retrofuturistic "back to the future"
obso-leet AMOK nfo hybridising oldskool ASCII art and YAML.
This nfo is designed to be both human and machine readable.
We also bring a few more things:
- The filenames are appended with ISRC codes disambiguating common
dupechecking problems like remastered and remixed tracks,
transliteration errors, foreign characters...
- id3 tags include a lot more metadata than average releases,
some to name a few:
- extended genres (extracted from last.fm/bandcamp)
- similar artists
- BPM (also shown in the tracklist above)
- URLS for that release on various websites for listeners to
look for more info and to simplify nukers' jobs checking
releases
The schema_version tag allows that nfo format to evolve and stay
compatible. The current schema will be published in the near
future to make sure all .yml.nfo released will use the same
structure and set of keys.
