Firing on all cylinders from the off, Proem's fifth
full-fat album is a double CD that brings together 'You
Shall Have Ever Been' and a live set recorded at Decibel
Festival - showing Richard Bailey's strategic approach to
complex and chewy electronica.

Recorded over a two year period that Bailey describes as
"sleepless", 'You Shall Have Ever Been' reflects this
emotional state through a sound that plumbs much deeper
wells than previous releases - as the shrapnel sharp
electronics are cushioned amongst pink and fluffy
soundscapes that are a joy to behold.

Able to bring a technical zeal to his work that would leave
others seeming clinical, the likes of 'Behold Eck',
'Reddings' and 'Shaped Sap' are all bold yet tender digital
compositions that bring to mind the likes of Two Lone
Swordsmen getting jiggy with Slowdive.
