the last months have been quite turbulent for matthias tanzmann and
daniel stefanik. much time and energy have been put into their labels
moon harbour and cargo edition, the new "baby". not to forget the
countless nights they have spent in the clubs around the world -
sometimes together, most of the time each for himself. it has been
more than a year ago that they released a record together - now the
join again to bundle their experiences. "basic needs" (a1) is a pure
club tool - it's all about this one chord, this one groove, these
'basic needs' that can decide about a whole night. phage and normen
webber know this all too well - as they show with their "luna city
express remix" (b1). they slow down the pace a bit to make the chords
come even deeper - tracks like this should be available as endless
versions. afterwards, tanzmann & stefanik close down with "drifting"
(b2): a dubby track with oldschool flavour and nice chord modulation
that will make you drift, of course.
