Hidden Culture's return to the label is marked by a melodic and
ethereal tradition infused with intricate melodies and effects
that take the sound of the track to unseen and truly beautiful
places. The air of 'A Beautiful Lie' reaps transcendence all the
way through. In its atmospheres and distinct synth selection we
uncover more deeply into the imagination. A mesmerizing break
and the follow-up of a cymbal, kickdrum and clap conglomeration
regurgitates the old adage with new light. This is a floating
rendition made for dreamers, seekers and those at home with the
beyond.
As for 'Timeless' there is seamlessness that inhabit the track
from beginning to end. The listener comes to this track with a
subtle play of atmospheres and synth harmonies. And as the pads
change, we are led into the heart of the melody, which is at
times ominous and at others simply beautiful. This motive
reverberates throughout, but as we find melodic techno synth
elements, the light is met by a minute darkness that finds its
place amidst the integrity of the kickdrum and the cymbal
frames. We do not say goodbye without a second break which
brings us back to the lasting beatitude of the song. A beautiful
end to a wonderful EP.
