            Katerine releases his seventh album, his first on
            bungalow. It is a collaboration with Gonzales and
            Renaud Letang from Feist.
            A highly entertaining and yet depressing
            electronic-songbased-concept-album on a man
            fighting against the growing power of the
            machines.

            Philippe Katerine is a star in his home country
            France. He had a leading role in creating the term
            Nouvelle Chanson .
            His seventh album "Robots Apres Tout" ("Robots
            After All") was already released in France in fall
            2005. Here in Germany Bungalow Records takes care
            of it now and releases it in November 2006.

            Looking at his biography this thirty-something has
            quiet a few passions. Not only being a musical
            romantic but also an actor and a director.

            Somehow "Robots apres tout" marks a break in his
            discography.
            His songs back then were more songwriting- or
            rock-based, but this time it's complete electronic
            pop-music.
            Means of transport are uncomplicated beats,
            somehow spiked with a touch of 70s-Disco- and
            80s-Synthie-Flair.
            Besides of flawless electro-pop-hits like "Louxor
            J 'Adore" this album opens a broad range and
            sometimes appears a little too obscure and
            subcooled but in other parts extra kitschy and
            plastic.
