Beautifully personal music from the team of Anna
Christoffersson and Steve Dobrogosz - music penned and played
on piano by Steve, interpreted vocally by Anna with a lightly
crackling quality that's really wonderful!
The sound is spare and very intimate - mostly just Steve's
piano with a bit of extra cello or bass on some of the tunes -
a setting that allows plenty of space for Anna's wonderful
vocals to dominate the session, and paint magical pictures in
sound with Steve's English language lyrics.
The style is somewhere between jazz and more contemporary
singer/songwriter work - but is also handled in a carefully
individual mode that eschews any easy comparisons.
Enjoy!
