█ At first glance, you may stare at the uniqueness, █
█ and originality in his name, U'kay, "Tha █
█ R&beast", this is the hope, as this artist wants █
█ to always make a lasting impression on anyone he █
█ comes across. █
█ U'kay, who's family is of Nigerian ancestry, got █
█ his stagename from a friend who said he was a █
█ "beast" on stage, as well as on the mic, and most █
█ would agree, what with Usher and Ginuwine-styled █
█ dancing ablity, and unmatched singing and █
█ songwiting talent. █
█ Born in Dallas, Tx. Ukay's journey started in a █
█ strict Nigerian family, headed by his father, who █
█ instilled in him, among other things, pride, █
█ integrity, and the will to win, under any █
█ circumstance. This young talent took this █
█ motivation and militant attitude to the studio, █
█ making sure he brought 110% each time he was in █
█ the presence of music. █
█ Getting involved in talent shows since age 9, █
█ Ukay knew his purpose early on.By now, being only █
█ in his early twenties, his accolades include: 2nd █
█ place at Club Diamonds Talent Search--Dallas Tx █
█ 2nd place at Igbo Talent Show --Garland Tx █
█ Opening musical act at the Zebulun Management █
█ Modeling Extravaganza--Plano, Tx Preformance with █
█ rap group Dekaboyz at the Gypsy Tea █
█ Room---Downtown Dallas, Tx As well as numerous █
█ awards in conjuction with his songwriting █
█ talents. █
█ Now a days, with his current demo "Let Me █
█ X,Plain", complete, talks with label heads in █
█ Dallas intrests sparked, and already signing a █
█ modeling contract with ShonDanz Entertainment, █
