      Telepath, represented by Thievery Corporation's Outernational Music,
      is the creation of producer and multi-instrumentalist Michael Chris
      tie. Using his background as a drummer and keyboardist in various 
      electronic and Afrobeat bands, Michael informs his music with an 
      organic, human element that is often lacking in modern electronic 
      music. The new album Fire One mixes the influences of dub, dance
      hall, Indian and Arabic music, gritty funk, and more into an album 
      of downtempo magic equally at home in a dark, smoky living room, or
      bangin' in a late-night club.
