      │ ok, heres the proper rip...the first ones in 33 instead of 45    │
      │ rpm                                                              │
      │                                                                  │
      │ Moxie has been one of the most consistent disco re-edit series   │
      │ around (responsible for that Carl Craig Talking Heads edit       │
      │ amongst others). Here they take a diversion with this new        │
      │ Broxie spin-off, which focuses on late 60s funk rock and garage  │
      │ rock breaks. We can't name drop the originals here, but the two  │
      │ a-side cuts(1,2) are of the uptempo and furious variety, the     │
      │ mad drummer "Manimal" is definitely in the house. The two        │
      │ b-side cuts(3,4) are intelligent loops of the garage-psych       │
      │ goodness. Both balance between recognizable rock elements and    │
      │ abstractness, equaling one of the freshest sounds I've heard in  │
      │ a minute.                                                        │
