│ File under beautiful downtempo. Sorry don't have any background │
│ info on this 7" release, but you should really let the grooves │
│ do the talking. "Simpatico(1)" is one of those ethereal tracks │
│ that would be considered new agey if wasn't for the pocketful │
│ of gritty drums. Love that combination The flip, "Sunrise │
│ Shorebreak(2)," is more of the same, this time characterized by │
│ some chilled out acoustic guitar action. If you like the │
│ Memphix or Rehash stuff, definitely check this out. │

│ Cartridge Bomb records is an independent record label based out │
│ of houston, texas. Founded by rob mozell in 2006 as a d.i.y. │
│ outlet for releasing music primarily on vinyl. The Cartridge │
│ Bomb label currently houses artists makestapes, on[hiatus], │
│ yppah, the throwback edits, and stenographer. The audio you can │
│ expect to hear are for the most part downtempo, instrumental, │
│ breakbeat compostions. The first release on Cartridge Bomb is a │
│ 7" vinyl from makestapes which is a new release for fall 2006. │
│ The second release will be a label comp on vinyl with a │
│ tentative release of december 2006/ january 2007. There will be │
│ much more in the works as far as future vinyl releases are │
│ concerned. │
