"moon harbour has good news for you: a new artist joining our
family - welcome samim! after big success with his projects "samim
& michal" and "fuckpony" (together with jay haze) he debuts on moon
harbour with his 3-track-ep "eternally collapsing object". the bass
line of "eco" (b1) paces through deep frequencies as samim throws
in sharp-edged snares, wistful dub-synths and an elusive
vocal-sample: this track is so catchy that it deserves the rare
honour of a long b-side - its strong vibe just would have swallowed
up any other tune accompanying it. "skks" (a1) will get you from a
different point of view: forget about dub and minimalism, this one
is a rhythmical display of fireworks. samim goes in for the full,
tictac go the claps and vocal-samples jeer and jiggle everywhere.
this track got guts, man! "radiative" on a2, though complex in its
arrangement, slams massive as well - too bad, one can't press an ep
