Due to a mix-up with the label design of records one and two, the
descriptions of the first pair of Disco Devil edits may not seem to
correspond with the track titles, but I assure you the clips and
descriptions match what's on each 12". So the A-side, listed on the
12" as "Devil Love" is a dubby re-edit of the Jellybean Benitez
mixed "Baja" by Mascara, a 1984 track with freaky Latino vocals and
a vibrant nocturnal feel that regularly pops up in sets of only the
most dirty-fingered disco DJs. The flip is derived from an as yet
unidentified Italo theme, where signature arpeggios dip and dive
beneath a cool electric guitar solo, soothing female vocal
harmonies and understated drums.
