│║ Art Of War's anticipated 2nd album 'Chapter II-Waging War'
│║ burns bright like the intense blaze of warfare, never has an
│║ Australian accent and hip hop group had such an international
│║ sound while keeping it truly local.

│║ The raw sound of Art Of War's debut album 'The First Chapter'
│║ in 2004 saw them quickly rise to the ranks of long standjng
│║ legends of the underground oz hip hop scene. In the never
│║ ending battle for the scene's general acceptance,"safe" topics
│║ and heavily borrowed funk samples are the norm but this 2nd
│║ instalment from AOW is destined to throw a spanner in the
│║ works.
│║
│║ In-house producer Burna ditches the re-hashed funk samples for
│║ a completely original, melodic and often epic score. Art Of
│║ War are a completely self contained, determined package and
│║ prove this further on 'Waging War' by forgoing featured guests
│║ with/and all production being solely handled by advanced
│║ producer/MC Burna.
│║
│║ Minas, Burna and Chris L hold nothing back on 'Waging War'
│║ giving us a deep and emotional insight into their personal
│║ lives on a level that every listener can relate to. 'Waging
│║ War' fittingly begins with the sound of a page turning,
│║ signifyingthe beginning of Chapter II. It goes on to reveal
│║ the fun times, the hard times and the dark with their intense
│║ passion for music shining through brightly on this rock solid
│║ 15 track release.
│║
│║ Tracks range from the carefree, summer vibe of'Feel It' with
│║ an easy going piano riff and drums to the emotional insight of
│║ 'Real Love' where these 3 MCs delve into their personal lives
│║ and openly talk about how they feel about those they hold
│║ closest. The easy going, reflective track 'Cant Hold Me Back'
│║ is the only sample based track on the album and sees AOW
│║ fondly reminisce about 'back In the days' and the opposition
│║ they faced which brought them closer and stronger over the
│║ years. The production found on 'Time's Big Business' is
│║ instantly brazen and the clever word play and millisecond
│║ perfect flows yet again demonstrate a professional sound not
│║ yet heard within their genre.
