the original "planetary folklore" was recorded by kirk degiorgio
in 1997, an alternative techno masterpiece for mo'wax under the as
one pseudonym. almost a decade on, the as one name is reprised for
a set on archive that is often surprising in its scope. "to see
with your eyes" is lush enough to be an instrumental out-take from
his beauty room project, "i used to live here parts 1&2" is a
jazzy downbeat trip while "its all turning blue", "germanium" and
"irradiant" are decidedly the offspring of a techno maestro.
