│ If you're like me (and, for your sake, I hope you're not), │
│ there's barely a concert on Earth cool enough to lure you out │
│ of the apartment and away from your precious TV for the │
│ evening. A-Trak & The Rub's Sunglasses Is A Must tour was │
│ pretty damn cool, but I still managed to stay in my hidey-hole │
│ when they romped through NYC. Lucky for me (and all you │
│ Europeans), France's Disque Primeur label has issued this super │
│ official 2CD live set, recorded in (where else?) Indianapolis, │
│ IN. Now, I was never a skqratcchh nerd, never listened to │
│ bootleg ISP tapes or nothing, but I can definitely respect the │
│ seamless way that A-Trak fuses his scratchy roots with his │
│ newfound inner party rocker. Ayres & Cosmo's set (with A-Trak │
│ on the wicky-wicky) is predictably great and features some │
│ blends and "routines" they built especially for the tour -- so │
│ even if you've been to every Rub ever, you'll still find │
│ something new here. Tucked away at the bottom of CD2 are some │
│ unmixed, digital-quality gems from the tour: A-Trak's awesome │
│ Lil Wayne / Richie Spice blend from the last Hollertronix │
│ volume, Cosmo's dope Temptations / Applause riddim blend and │
│ Ayres' Ying Yang / Yaz track. │
