:: Pagan Hellfire is a one man black metal project from Nova ::
:: Scotia Canada. The music is rather primitive and crude ::
:: sounding. The songs are well crafted, to the point but not ::
:: monotonous. These are genuine songs with an evolution and ::
:: the different riffs mixing well with each other. One of the ::
:: strong points is that Incarnatus can actually play all of ::
:: his instruments (his weaker point is maybe the drums at mid ::
:: - tempo), and it seems that because of this he can actually ::
:: concentrate on the music. ::
:: The atmosphere (always important in black metal) is rather ::
:: frosty, grim and the vocals (in the typical style) blend ::
:: well with this atmosphere. They are not too loud, thus not ::
:: covering the music but still intense and cold. All the ::
:: pieces blend well together so there are no real standout ::
:: tracks (though "Isolation" flows nicely). ::
