░  Oh Messy life is the songwriting outlet for Adam Lees, who was the    ░
░  main creative force behind Sydney emo/math rock band Staying at       ░
░  Home. Whilst the first Oh Messy Life record, 1 + 1 1 = 1, was a       ░
░  modest, lo-fi scrapbook of experiments with acoustic and              ░
░  home-recorded music, the new 5 song Literature EP is a substantially  ░
░  matured expolation of the songwriting experience. Before recording    ░
░  this new 5-song batch, Adam invested in some better gear for his      ░
░  bedroom, and was determined to develop something in direct contrast   ░
░  to the debut in terms of songwriting focus. What has resulted is an   ░
░  EP which takes the best bits of those original experiments and hones  ░
░  them into a more definitive Oh Messy Life sound; 5 meticulously       ░
░  layered tracks, whose sleepy warm acoustic foundations are textured   ░
░  with the odd kitschy electro beat or hum, or momentary surges of      ░
░  electric guitar.                                                      ░
