Frenetic guitars that border on frantic are the building blocks upon which
Branches build their tree of indie rock. Along with the standard weapons of
choice for rock outfits, Branches also employs the use of lapsteel guitar,
keyboards, bells, vibes, banjo, and a drum machine. Their sound is experimental
apartment rock with elements of folk-rock and roots rock woven in to perfection.
Grown In You is a statement to the talent of this quartet and I look forward to
hearing them stretch out even more on the follow-up.
