│ In their 4 years in the United States, Porsches on the
│ Autobahn have redefined the genre of German techno-pop and
│ built a massive fan base from their insanely high-energy
│ concerts and internet music videos. Otto Jayayyemmri and
│ Dezeiter Abbler combine their lyrics and signature dance
│ ôtrick movesö with the catchy beats of Hans Brunz and
│ synthesizer virtuoso Volker Dassler, creating a
│ jaw-droppingly energetic experience that could only be
│ rivaled if the Beastie Boys, Kraftwerk and Lil Jon started
│ a band. They have shared the stage with Broken Social
│ Scene and The Dreseden Dolls, recently toured the US,
│ stopping at the South By Southwest festival, and have been
│ featured in Vice Magazine and the Boston Metro. In
│ December 2006 they will release their DVD album, for which
│ they collaborated with Grammy-nominated director, Paul
│ Greenhouse (Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen), and launch the
│ first line of products for their clothing label, Dance
│ American.
