The four instruments of Magic Carpet create a steady stream of
music in given bounds.
The sound parameter's steady variation creates a vividness,
that can hardly be reached by conventional electronic or
digital instruments.
Sound carpets, drum loops and melody lines add a special
charater to your projects.
The artificial creativity generates catchy lines beyond the
usual.
New sounds and melodys are found easylie. Increase your
creative output with the greatest of ease.
Magic Carpet delivers varied, entertaining soundscapes, as
long as your computer is provided with electrical power.
So exhibitions, galleries and chill out areas can get their
unique acustical note.
Magic Carpet - Technology
Magic Carpet's instruments produce sequences of notes
automaticaly.
Scale, rage and rhythm density are delimited by the user.
The integrated synthesizers, sampler, filtersections and
panorama controls vary for every note in their given bounds.
The Loop Section provides six automaticaly composed bars that
can be alternately repeated. Sound and melody can vary with
adjustable density.
Midi can be used to control the plugin's pitch shift.
In the Replay Mode the played out material can be repeated.
So valuable moments won't be lost.
As additional effects, chorus and reverb are provided.
Magic Carpet - Hosts
At the moment, Magic Carpet is only available for Windows.
Cubase VST 5 has been tested intensively in Windows 98 / 2000.
Cubase SX in Windows 2000 and Logic Audio in Windows XP didn't
show any problems.
Audio Mulch v.0.9b14 works fine, but it has got a bug, so you
can't select files for the sampler by dialog. You'll have to
load them by drag and drop.
Magic Carpet - Hardware
Minimum requested hardware is Pentium III. The slowest
computer is able to write the output from Magic Carpet to a
file.
If you want four instruments to play out a 500 ms lasting tone
every 1/16 at 120 bpm and to use filter and reverb for each of
them you'll need a PIII-500 MHz.
So a PIII / PIV min. 800 MHz is recommended.
