█ Rose Francois was born November eighteenth in █
█ Haiti. She grew up as the daughter of a minister █
█ in a family of eleven. The introduction of music █
█ came very early in life through the small-town █
█ church where her father ministered. Whether it █
█ was singing in a wedding, a church program, a █
█ special community event, or just within her large █
█ family, Rose became a hometown favorite by the █
█ time she was just seven years old. █
█ █
█ Growing up in a musical family made music a third █
█ language for Rose, with her first being French █
█ and Creole and then later in life, English. Her █
█ oldest brother Frantz's passion for music played █
█ a pivotal role for Rose, by allowing her to delve █
█ deeper into her own musical expression. In the █
█ spring of 1997, the tragic death of Rose's █
█ brother changed the Francois family forever. It █
█ was then that Rose knew that she could never let █
█ go of her dream or the passion for music that █
█ Frantz had enabled her to see. █
█ █
█ Since arriving in America, Rose Francois has █
█ continued to cultivate her special gift by █
█ sharing the dream instilled within her as a young █
█ girl. By sharing her love for God through music █
█ and reaching across all cultural boundaries to █
█ express her love for music through songs, Rose █
█ Francois hopes to give back something in return █
█ for all that's been given to her. █
