    └────────┘

A kind of underground rap supergroup comprised of Quannum labelmates
Gift Of Gab (from Blackalicious) and Lateef (from Latyrx) along with
producer Headnodic (from Crown City Rockers), The Mighty Underdogs
got together after Lateef invited Gab to join him on some Headnodic
     beats he was rhyming over.

The three found that they worked well together and decided to call
themselves The Mighty Underdogs, self-releasing the six-song EP "The
Prelude" in the spring of 2008 in anticipation of their debut
full-length, "Droppin' Science Fiction", which had an impressive
selection of guests - MF Doom, Lyrics Born, DJ Shadow, Mr. Lif,
Chali 2na, Casual - and a fall 2008 street date.
