     Ceephax Acid Crew latest album Baddow Moods follows up 2021's
     dancefloor party album Box Steady with a more reserved mellow
     approach and slower tempos. Lush soundtracky synth strings and
     crunchy detuned pianos with spare Roland drum machine beats,
     sometimes verging on ambient with tracks like Way Station and Lost
     Ranger, but also nodding towards Deep House heroes such as Larry
     Heard with tracks Escalator Love and Schteenmetz. Ceephax is
     clearly in no rush here as the longest tracks such as Ventlaris
     reaching lengths of over 10 minutes giving the listener time to
     become fully immersed in the ranging "moods" on offer here.
