About SHOOSHINE (www.myspace.com/shooshine):
I was born in a cold and snowy season in 1981. The passion for music was
given to me by my parents in a manner of speaking and it became my permanent
companion. Music had always been quite something I could arrange with every
mood of my life. ThatÆs what had made it so important to me. In my teenage
years I was rather infected by hard rock and fascinated by bands like Guns
NÆRoses, Nirvana and Faith No More. Anytime I received a cassette with
electronic music on it.
That was the time I started listening to every kind of electronic music, what
was not quite much back then. I must have been 15 years old, as I got behind
the 1210s rather accidentally. Grown to CDs and cassettes, I found it rather
unspectacular at first. Little later I was pretty amazed yet and I wanted to
own those black things, too. Back in the days I didnÆt even think about
making music of my own, not to mention about running my own record label. As
I was touring around some clubs as a DJ, spinning other producersÆ vinyl, I
was just longing more and more to start my own thing. So it was ôlonged and
doneö. In 2004, many months and tracks after, I founded anny-jack recordings.
