Release Notes
Toni Buehlmann and Heinz Loertscher are the fresh soundproject SOLANO from
Switzerland. Their innovative music unites different musical factors and
gives progressive sound a new character. Their Live and DJ sets leave no
wishes open. This rare artist promotional material attempts to give you a
glance of the dancefloor feeling when they play their hi-fi live gigs, even
if thats hard to forget for every decent, modern, quality progressive trance
lover.
Parts of this are probably soon to be seen on their new album "Blackout"
which will only be distributed digitaly. A first take of 'Innovation' appears
here whose's retake was seen on Dust Nation Part 3 compilation by
Dance'n'Dust Records, released late 2006. Other goodies like the hard-proggy
style Zambezia and High-Hool with nicely crafted rythms breaks, all within a
psychedelic context are trademarks of this project which gave us alot of
excitement and joy, right when we started being suspicious about how much
more proggressive psytrance can evolve! We loved these tunes and we recommend
them to all of you. Also don't miss out Solano gigs-something tells us this
sound is exactly what we want to hear in proggy stages in summertime
festivals. Solano has cooperated with Vertikal Records, Dance'n'Dust and
Tribal Tribe. Watch their space for more solano goodies!
