Release Notes:

Manchester's popular culture zine is celebrating one year of bringing words and
gigs to the world. What better way to do this than present a compilation of some
of the best new bands around, all of whom have helped them in some way to reach
this stage? With that in tow listen to and enjoy fantastic pop songs from los
campesinos!, the answering machine and sky larkin; get down and bluesy with the
former bullies; have an electro twiddle with the star fighter pilot and
modernaire; feel your heart broken and put lovingly back together by mr. ed
cottam, the waverton collective, my side of the mountain and the search map; and
get down right noisy with sir yes sir, air cav, redcarsgofaster and shut your
eyes and you'll burst into flames. If that isn't enough to make you excited
about music in 2007 the we don't know what is!
