The track "Mad Monks On Zinc" has been on Tobias Lampeæs memory of
a glorious clubnight in the very early 90's at the legendary
ôPlanetö in Berlin. When Sven Vaeth played out this track he was
freaking out on the dancefloor, but asking Sven for the trackÆs
name didnÆt lead to success, as Sven pointed on the record with a
grin: the 12? only had a big question mark on it!Finally Tobias got
a copy of that record during one of his regular record-huntings in
Soho, but it wasnæt until 1999 when he finally discovered the
actual artist & title. At this time Holy Ghost Inc. were better
known for true splendid Techno with releases on e.g. Berlinæs
Tresor label than for their early 90's releases, when äcutting edge
DJs like Andrew Weatherall were pioneering the Holy Ghost Inc.'s
"Mad Monks On Zinc", the fourth and best in a series of deeply
underground, eclectic EPs (Mixmaster Morris in Mixmag 1992).Now,
almost 16 years after the original Team NVS brings you the repress
including Remixes by former Martin Buttrich and Adultnapper...
