Release Notes:

The Vinyl Skyway perform a melodic brand of rock emphasizing vocals with lush
harmonies, gleaming guitar licks, and crafty original pop songs with depth
uncommon for an unsigned artist. Members reside in Boston, New York and San
Francisco, and were previously known as roots-rock quartet Lemonpeeler. In a
recent review of their new album "From Telegraph Hill," the Boston Globe
describes the Vinyl Skyway's sophomore release as a "breakthrough record of
exquisitely crafted pop." The Vinyl Skyway's breezy sound is also lauded by
Boston rock critic Jonathan Perry as "lush, summery music in the vein of the
Thrills, the Pernice Brothers, or Lindsey Buckingham-era Fleetwood Mac."

The Vinyl Skyway's self-titled debut was released in 2004 and began as a
partnership between lead singer/songwriter Michael Hayes and
multi-instrumentalist/composer Andy Santospago. It was called one of the yearÆs
best local releases (Boston Phoenix) and played nationally on the show Morning
Becomes Eclectic by host Nic Harcourt. The rest of the band features drummer
Booth Hardy, bassist Rob Pevitts and keyboardist Dave Lieb (the Rudds), as well
as harmony singers Beth Daly and Angela Valley. Half of the album was mixed by
Paul Kolderie and Adam Taylor at Camp Street Studios in November 2006.

The Vinyl Skyway look forward to a monthlong residency at CambridgeÆs Lizard
Lounge in February, a series of appearances in New York City, and hopeful for an
appearance at the South by Southwest Music Conference. A tour of the United
States and Europe is also in the works while they promote their fresh new CD to
college and AAA radio with a street date of January 22nd.
