dXb From Karaoke to Stardom is Jeremy Herpe, a 30 year dXb
dXb old producer from Paris. He spent years getting the dXb
dXb weirdest chords possible out of his guitar and FX dXb
dXb rack before immersing himself in computer-generated dXb
dXb sound. Ever since he has been obsessed with making dXb
dXb funky weird noise. His influences include everyone dXb
dXb from ultra minimalists like Alva Noto, Ikeda & Pan dXb
dXb Sonic through to Plastikman, Murcof, Akufen, via dXb
dXb labels like Mille Plateaux & Force Inc. dXb

dXb showcases From Karaoke to Stardom's unique sound. Its dXb
dXb appeal lies in the way the apparent contradictions of dXb
dXb his sound are held together by a crisp 4x4 rhythm. dXb
dXb The sound is at once stripped down yet full, crisp dXb
dXb yet organic and has warmth interplayed with harsh dXb
dXb atmospherics. The result is a strange, distant vibe dXb
dXb that somehow feels familiar and comfy. dXb

dXb Through The Peephole is a broody, dark and dXb
dXb atmospheric look at the other side of the door. dXb
dXb Intricate percussion, tight effects and deep kicks dXb
dXb are the order of the day here. Things groove along dXb
dXb very nicely up to the breakdown a third of the way dXb
dXb in. A remorseless resonant snare is introduced and dXb
dXb things notch up a gear. This more kinetic pace is dXb
dXb built upon and inter-cut with stadium sized reverbs dXb
dXb and finely crafted special effects. With the coming dXb
dXb of the second breakdown things get a little darker, a dXb
dXb little grittier and kinda fruggy. dXb

dXb Belly Button Bounce is a more bouncy affair, as you dXb
dXb might imagine. Bouncy bass and syncopated percussion dXb
dXb and well placed effects make for a supremely funky dXb
dXb deep techno track. But just when you think you have dXb
dXb this one pegged, Jeremy, the cheeky Frenchman, slams dXb
dXb it for the last 2 minutes with a penetrating kick and dXb
dXb more aggressive bass. dXb

dXb Bleep A Trick, in true B2 (side B, track 2) style, is dXb
dXb my fav on this EP - seemingly pulling in the best dXb
dXb elements of the other tracks. Bouncy kicks, crunchy dXb
dXb snares, laaarge atmospherics, fudgey bass and enough dXb
dXb funk and groove for a plane full of snakes. But hold dXb
dXb on, the naughty man from Paris does it again, this dXb
dXb time with acidic off kilter bass stabs that come in dXb
dXb half way to add that certain "je ne sais quoi". dXb

dXb Force Majeure take 3.5, as chosen by Jeremy himself, dXb

dXb classic electro elements. Melancholic phasing pads dXb

dXb effects and spooky sounds later in the track. dXb
