Release Notes:

ItÆs a little hard to do a review for Odran Trⁿmmel
without resorting to ambiguous fancy labels such as
post-folks, alt. folks or comparing his first album
to those before him. For one, he doesnÆt sound like
current contemporary folks such as Dar Williams or
Elliot Smith. He uses far wider sound than simple
guitar and voice. His work is rich, as if doing
british folks open air for a rock concert opening.
One could see a heavy hint of Belle & Sebastian
sound but with great percussion, or up tempo Nick
Drake. Perhaps happier Neutral Milk Hotel fits the
description better, an indie darling who refuses to
play inside the box. Just plain fun. Singing about
romping around the country side in odd folks like
songs. Odran Trⁿmmel cuts his teeth in Edinburgh
pubs scene in the early 2000 and release his first
album, Down Louishill, late last fall.
