   If there is list of perfect Dream Pop+Shoegaze albums Bertoia's "Modern
   Synthesis" will surely be on my list of best picks. It goes from one song to
   the next grabbing you with a catchy melody and chorus on each turn. The
   melodies are very Japanese Indie oriented but oh so good! It's sounds often
   like Lush with lots of sugar on top. This is a hard to find OOP CD and I was
   extremely lucky to to find a copy when recently visiting Japan :D
   If you are into Dream Pop-gaze this album will NOT disappoint. - SHGZ

   The first full-length album by Tokyo Shoegazer/Indie-Pop band, Bertoia. It
   that released in 2011 with 10 beautiful charms and dreamy songs inside an
   album called 'MODERN SYNTHESIS'.

   Formed in Tokyo, Bertoia is a Shoegazer and Indie Pop band consisting of 5
   members. They take their roots from the '80s-'90s US and UK scene, which they
   developed in their own way to create Bertoia music. They formed in 2007, and
   their long-awaited first album "MODERN SYNTHESIS" was finally released in
   April 2011.

   Listening to Bertoia's debut album gives me such a warm and gentle feeling
   that I feel as if I'm dozing off under the sunshine filtering through the
   trees on a sunny summer day. The harmonies of LUSH, the comfort of the Pale
   Saints, and the psychedelia of the Galaxy 500. If these keywords caught your
   eye, please give it a listen. It's sure to become one of your favorites. -
