:: Singer/songwriter Jerry Morris has had a colorful and
:: exciting career in the music business, starting as a Rock &
:: Roll singer and later with an R & B band called, ôThe
:: Renegades. After a stint with the Renegades as lead singer,
:: Jerry regrouped with his band and the band became Jerry and
:: The Emanons, the group included Bob Balog, Dennis Berg, Jim
:: Kozan. Playing teen clubs, college fraternity parties and
:: local gigs, the band met with local DJ's and they started
:: playing the group on the radio.

:: What a history Jerry Morris has to his credit with such names
:: as Diana Ross and The Supremes, Smoky Robinson and The
:: Miracles. Later opening and playing with Chuck Jackson, The
:: Contours, Jackie Wilson, The Temptations, Fontana Bass, and
:: many other Motown greats, they were the first white band to
:: play the Graystone ballroom, and the TwentyGrand. The scene
:: was similar to Buddy Holly at the Apollo, when the curtain
:: opened. You could've heard a pin drop, but that changed once
:: the EmanonÆs started their own special style of great music.
