Release Notes:

'STRIPES' is the second album for Sydney-based 9
piece live soul hip-hop band KID CONFUCIUS, renowned
for their energetic and packed live shows. Their
debut self-titled album was released in 2005 and was
critically acclaimed with singles 'Words' and
'Skintight' receiving high rotation national radio
play. Sounds like a Detroit era Motown record
produced and mixed with the aesthetic of a banging
hip hop album. Expect a sound that conjures a Marvin
Gaye soul symphony performed by the Beatles and
conducted by Kanye West, with a live show to match.
'STRIPES' was produced by Sydney's producer de jour
Buchman, AKA Tony Buchen and mixed by Grammy award
winning engineer Russell Elevado (The Roots,
D'Angelo, Dave Chappelle's Block Party) at Jimi
Hendrix's own Electric Lady Studios in NYC.
