Utensil Recordings celebrates it's eighteenth release with one of our
strongest EP's to-date. A, Galen's original mix is a stellar funky
techie house thumper with some nice James Bond influenced horn stabs
and bouncy melodies that inter-play skillfully with the subbie bass
line. Soon to be a SF underground classic. B1, features the
minimal/funky stylings of head Dirtybird Claude VonStroke. Claude's
second release on Utensil and once again, he sets a new standard in
production technique and arrangement that say so much with so little.
Closing out the EP is Rob Mello's "No Ears" remix. A sultry, techie
acid house flavored journey featuring long modulation sweeps perched
on a chunky bass line. This mix is an amazing re-work by Mr. Mello.

HOLTON, England (Reuters) -- Britain tried to contain its first
outbreak of the highly pathogenic H5N1 strain of bird flu in
domestic poultry on Saturday after the virus was found at a farm
run by Europe's biggest turkey producer. Some 2,500 turkeys have
died since Thursday at the Bernard Matthews farm near Lowestoft
in eastern England. The Department for the Environment, Food and
Rural Affairs (Defra) said all 159,000 turkeys on the farm would
now be culled.
