Re-release of the cult Album 'Full Moon Fashions'
2000-05-17 - Full_Moon_Fashions-Full_Moon_Fashions-(1995)-UTOPiA
plus one brand new full length Album 'Nocturnes'
1994 saw the release of one of the most important chill-out Albums
of all times. Full Moon Fashions self entitled debut Album was the
very first release on the German based cult label Elektrolux and
managed to catapult the label into the international spotlight
with this very first release. Full Moon Fashions was different and
way ahead of the flood of cold hearted, cheaply made, so called
'ambient albums'.
Full Moon Fashions always managed to capture the magic of the
moment, the music of Full Moon Fashions always had a very special
emotional quality to its sound and depth and its diverse style has
found many copy cats who never came close to the original.
Two more Albums followed: 'Faith Gallery', 'Always Feed The Fish',
and 'City' but the self-entitled 'Full Moon Fashions' is still one
of most sought after releases of those times and has been recently
auctioned for more than Euro 80, - on e-bay as it is out of print
since years.
Finally, the rights have fallen back to the artist and the time
could not have been better for this re-release. To spice up this
fantastic edition, 'Nocturnes' also delivers one CD with brand
new, exclusive material, which gives another insight into the
depth of a mind. 'Nocturnes' is probably the deepest of all works
in the world of Chill-Out and a fantastic Bonus for this
re-release Digipak. enjoy!
