After How to Play Phantomly (GLK002), the fireproof Inaqui Marφn
reappears in Galaktika to sign his ninth reference. About to reach
its tenth vinyl launch, Galaktika has decided to put forward the
most aggressive and blunt facet of I±aqui Marin.

Be it with delicate minimal or crushing techno, the versatility and
talent of this Catalan have allowed him to register real blasts in
each of the poles he has played. Frank Fontaine's Diary, except of
the most frenetic and hedonist electronica, is a good example of
this. Sharp and corrosive, this track enthusiastically follows the
most convulsive and lysergic school of Chicago: hypnotic melodies,
twisted bass and caustic bass lines.

Maurice Aymard has found it easy to jump from behind the scenes
straight to the arena. For the second time, although this time on
his own, he appears in his own label not as a producer but as an
artist. Moe brings up to date the acidic twist of Frank FontaineÆs
Diary, using lower-pitched and smoother sounds, but without
neglecting the danceable essence of the original track.

Galaktika, the shop, record label and techno-logic centre of the
Gracia neighbourhood of Barcelona, follows its incorruptible trail
of continually offering authentic electronica craftsmanship, in a
speculative and vain world. In no time Galaktika will reach its
tenth reference. A remarkable coming of age.

     Enjoy!.
