Release Notes:
The last few years instrumental music came up more and more...I like it, cause I
can sit back and relax. I always digged projects from Palm Dessert, Los
Angeles...they all have this dusty vibe...this driving in a car on a long
highway feeling...well, I think you know what I mean. Ten East can be described
as a sequel to the legendary Desert Sessions and so it┤s no wonder that I have
found old acquaintances on this CD...Gary Arce (Yawning Man), Brant Bjork
(Kyuss, Fu Manchu), Mario Lalli (Fatso Jetson, Yawning Man) and Bill Stinson
(Chuck Dukowski Sextet)...isn┤t that something, huh?! I like this album, cause
it makes me look forward to the next summer....At times the music gets a bit
tooo psychedelic and freaked out, but that┤s ok, cause it always calms back down
to enjoyable level. For fans of the Desert genre a must.
