As the clubs begin to refill for the winter season, there are few
things that will be injecting as much energy as this new collection
from Skooler & Flare, who touch down on Amen Brother with four spicy
new creations. We kick off with the tidy chord manoeuvres and spacey
bad textures of 'Bass Unknown', giving us a nostalgic dip to commence
with before the slower paced drum bops of '6 Mil' and sharpened break
work of the title track '12 Bells', a fiery thumper, stuffed to the
brim with original hardcore material. Finally, a slightly more pacey
finale as 'Be Free' links together electrified vocal chops with big
room breaks, closing off this EP with something pretty special.
