.: Review :.
ôLooking for a cureö, is an electronic concept that keeps the vibe of
powerful groovy dance-floor music which emphasizes the uniqueness of
æIntelabeamÆ (aka Dan Keinan). This is not a traditional full on
album but more a funk and groove attack, combined with European
electro trance while keeping the clubby feel on the ôtrance pathö all
trough the album; a real Israeli freestyled piece, spiced up with
vocals on few tracks preformed by Dan himself, you can feel the æAirÆ
atmosphere in the æJamiroquaiÆ disco funk, maybe an apocalyptic
manifest?! Try it.
For this project, Dan recruited some of his musician friends. He
collaborated with Sub6 (who also mastered this album) in æHuman SpinÆ
that brings progressive grooves with sub power and he also remixed
one of their early classics - æIndian JacktpotÆ (originally released
on TIP World). The æpsy tuneÆ of this album is æBasic InstinctÆ,
co-written with DJ æRockyÆ (Chemical Crew). Also, pay close attention
to the interesting Collaborations with Israeli 'Rimon' school of jazz
& contemporary music graduate, keyboard player - Eyal Gilboa, on 3
tracks: æThe QÆ, æPick ÆnÆ RollÆ and on the theme song - "Looking for
a cure", you can expect a rich & full musical journey.
