Taken from inside the booklet:
The Story... Just over six years ago A-Wax was released from Walla
Walla Sate Penetentiary in the state of Washington. The charge was
Murder...for which A-Wax plead down to Manslaughter in order to avoid
the possibility of the death sentence. A-Wax, originally from
Pittsburg, California had found himself in the Seattle/Tacoma area in
the early 90's after getting in trouble in his hometown. Thinking
that they were helping him, his family shipped him to an area that was
fast becoming a hotbed of gang violence, murder, and drug dealing.
After pledging his allegiance to his Elm Street Piru hood, A-Wax would
be on the fast track for prison. Upon his release, A-Wax connected
with his homies back home in Cali and started to lay his life down in
the form of music...
Finally A-Wax drops this album, Unconditional Thug, it finally sees the light
of day after about 2 years of coming soon. Its a double cd with cd 1
being Unconditional Thug and cd 2 looks to be that A-Wax and Smigg
Dirtee duo cd that was advertised a while back. Seems like they just
wanted to get it out and bundled it with this cd. It doesnt say it
for sure but thats what im putting my money on. Anyways if you like
this then buy it. Enjoy. CD 1 didnt have the best quality either.
PS. all you message board people who put up our songs for download
and our cover scans need to stop. you are disrespecting us and the
scene. if you got access to the releases thats great. you worked
hard to get access to them. so dont wash up the scene by releasing
stuff onto public message boards for people who did nothing at all to
get the releases other then beg for it. your not cool by putting the
songs up for download on rapid share links, if you were cool you would
be typing this. And dont forget we can stop doing this at any time.
