The Sound's inability to break through to the type of 80's post
punk prominence reserved for the likes of Joy Division and
Echo & The Bunnymen, the two bands the Sound fell in between
sound-wise, isn't all that easy to explain away.
Recorded at Adrian Borland's parents' house, these were the first
recordings they made after changing their name from The Outsiders
to The Sound. Originally released in 1999 and remastered and
re-released with a new cover for the Record Store Day 2015.
