Release Notes:
After being signed then released from Epic records, Justin King and his band
went back to Justin's Blackberry Hill Studios in Eugene, OR and recorded 5 songs
on Fall/Rise entirely on their own. Justin produced, engineered, and mixed the
record, in addition to writing, playing and singing on it. Dynamic in range,
density, and texture, the EP features everything from driving rock to electronic
drum programming to solo acoustic performances, all enhanced by a strong melodic
sense. The EP also reflects the band's diverse influences and interests.
In addition to the 5 songs with the band, this enhanced CD features a video of
Justin performing one of his virtuoso solo acoustic guitar pieces, this one on a
custom-made doubleneck acoustic.
The band plans to tour extensively in 2007, both in support of this EP and in
support of their full length which will be released independently sometime in
late spring.
