Norwegian electropop duo Frost is a collaboration between Aggie Peterson and Per
Martinsen. Together they make melodic songs about
changing the world backed by tasteful electronic sounds - more often than not
touched by the all-embracing hand of disco.

Frost was initially formed in 1997 in Troms°,
Northern Norway, with singer/writer Miss Aggie Peterson and Norwegian Dub Disco
entrepreneur DJ Rune Lindbµk at the core of the
project. Together, and with the extended assistance of Mr. Torbj°rn Brundtland
(now R÷yksopp) in addition to a few other hired
hands, they produced the album ôBedsit Theoriesö in 1998. The album did very
well in Norway, and the single ôClouds across the
moonö û a cover version of the Rah Band classic, received heavy rotation on MTV
in the summer of Æ98.

In 1999 Aggie and Rune released the single ôEndless
Loveö, with remixes by R÷yksopp and duo Illumination/Chilluminati û of which
electrohead and long time Norwegian provider of
electric funk, Per Martinsen (also of Mental Overdrive), was one half. This saw
the beginning of a collaboration between Aggie and
Per, and in 2001 they released the album ôMelodicaö together. Since then the
pair have collaborated as Frost.

ôMelodicaö consisted of glitchy electropop and
downtempo airy songs, and received great reviews worldwide. The song ôAmygdalaö
was released on a double vinyl 12ö single with a
variation of remixes, and the 7ö vinyl single ôPharmacyö/öHalf-wholeö is still a
sought-after gem.

Now theyÆre in the middle of producing their second
album together. The material this time leans more towards upbeat ôspace-popö
with catchy songs wrapped in hard-hitting yet dubby
production.

According to the duo, some of the mission for the new album is to ôsearch for
the lost pop of that golden era when joy and
creativity had as big a place in pop music as pure commerciality and copyism has
had in the last decadesö.

Their return to clubland can also be heard in the new
singles to come, the first being the track ôSleepwalkerö - a melodic and dreamy
song backed with floor-friendly beats and a bassline
that could move mountains and start religions in the balearic community.

FrostÆs third album "Love! Revolution!" will be released in Norway, March 26th
2007.
