After a five-year break, P.E.A.R.L relaunches his Falling Ethics
label. With a focus on crafty, dance floor-focused techno, Law Of
Desire underlines the label owner's ability to deliver diverse, club-
primed tracks. "High Heels" is a hard-edged affair, led by grinding
riffs and eerie synths woven into its driving rhythm. "Waveform
Reversal" has echoes of classic Jeff Mills, with outer space sound
scapes combined with firing percussion and pounding kicks. "Organised
Confusion" follows in a similar vein. Led by building, whooshing
filters, heavy tribal drums and razor-sharp percussion, it's a
contemporary update on classic 90s techno. P.E.A.R.L ends the EP with
"Way Back", a driving track powered by relentless hi-hats.
